Dave arrives early morning (typically 7am) when the temperature difference is greatest. We take a guided tour, seal all ventilation openings, install a blower door to pressurise the building, then scan every wall, floor, ceiling, window and door with a professional FLIR thermal camera. The whole process takes 3–5 hours. You receive a full digital report with thermal images, findings and prioritised recommendations — all same day.
Thermal imaging requires at least a 10°C temperature difference between inside and outside. In Ireland, October through April is ideal. Winter months give the most dramatic and accurate results. We won’t carry out a survey if outdoor temperatures are too high as results would be inconclusive.
